Wilmington Drama League presents ‘Mary Poppins’

The Wilmington Drama League’s supercalifragilisticexpialidocious production of “Mary Poppins” opens on Friday. The musical is based on the stories of P.L. Travers and the Walt Disney Film. Original Music and Lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman and book by Julian Fellowes. New Songs and Additional Music and Lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe. Co-Created by Cameron Mackintosh.

To accommodate all the families, evening performances of the musical will start at 7:30pm, and the League is planning extra matinees.

The musical runs Dec. 13-29, with evening shows (at 7:30 p.m.) on Dec. 13, 14, 20 and 27. Matinees (at 2 p.m.) are Dec. 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29. Tickets are now sale.
