Join the Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Delaware County for the 21st annual Fall Fest. The event will feature workshops, plant sales, a walking tour of Smedley Park with a certified Master Gardener, and the always popular “Frugal Gardener” marketplace. There will be children’s activities, and you can bring your home gardening questions, as Master Gardeners will be available to answer concerns.
Come for a full day or spend a half-day. Either way, you’ll have some fall fun and come away with some new plants, new gardening tips, and more! This event is for the entire Delco community, from those just learning about growing indoor and outdoor plants, to experienced home gardeners and their families. Exciting workshops include creating a season-spanning container garden or succulents in a pumpkin, tool sharpening, and a pinecone and zinnia wreath, among others.
There is no charge for general admission to the event, but there is a cost for workshops, as indicated on the registration website. A Wawa lunch is also available for order through the registration website.
