Join Upper Darby Township Recreation and the Schoener Music Man Academy for some cool jazz at the second annual Delco Jazz Jam on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 4 to 9 PM at the township building, 100 Garrett Road in Upper Darby.
This year, jazz lovers can expect an exciting evening of music, headlined by Luke Carlos O’Reilly, an award-winning pianist and organist, whose musical style is heavily influenced by Jazz, Soul, R&B, Gospel, Latin Jazz and Classical.
Other performances will include Settlement Music School’s Wheeler Pre-Advanced Jazz Ensemble, Philadelphia jazz collective Omar’s Hat, and the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts.
The evening will culminate in an open, free-flowing jam session for all ages with jazz collective Omar’s Hat, while the community can enjoy food and beverages available from local favorites, Artillery Brewing and Delco Steaks.
