PCS will hold auditions for “Roz & Ray” by Karen Hartman on June 23, 2024, at 1 p.m. (Open Call)

This is a gripping, time-bending story set in San Diego during the onset of the AIDS crisis. “Roz & Ray” delves into a profound narrative of love, trust, and sacrifice. Follow the journey of Ray, a devoted single parent, and Roz, a brilliant doctor, as they navigate the complexities of the medical establishment and the human heart. Directed by Michele King and produced by George Mulford.
Performance Dates: 
October 4, 5, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19
Location: Players Club of Swarthmore (614 Fairview Rd, Swarthmore, PA 19081)
Casting Breakdown: 
Roz: Fiftyish (playing as young as late thirties), warm and direct. Caucasian. From Ohio.
Ray: Fortyish (playing as young as late twenties), capable of great love and rage. Any ethnicity. From Texas.
Rehearsals: Start July 16, three evenings a week. Full week of tech/dress rehearsals leading up to the performances.
PCS Theater and the “Roz & Ray” production team are committed to diversity and inclusion. Performers of all races, ethnicities, etc. are welcome to audition.
This is a non-union, non-paying production. Due to mature content, auditions are open to ages 18+.
