Pier Players Theatre Company will present a reading of a brand-new musical at Media Theatre, “Ink & Paint” follows the first women artists at the Walt Disney Animation Studios in the 1930s and beyond, whose ranks included an immigrant, a record-breaking pilot, a concept artist, and Disney’s first credited woman animator. They tell the inspired-by-real-life tale of what happened to the first women to work in the company’s story department.
