Wilmington Drama League’s next mainstage production is “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” by Tennessee Williams, March 6-15, 2026. Set in the Southern plantation home of Big Daddy Pollitt, a wealthy cotton tycoon, the play examines the relationships among members of Big Daddy’s family, primarily between his son Brick and Maggie “the Cat”, Brick’s wife.
Some plays demand more. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is one of them. Tennessee Williams requires an ensemble grounded in truth, vulnerability, and courage. This cast has embraced the work fully… diving deep into discovery and playing every moment honestly. It’s an honor to shape this Pulitzer Prize–winning classic with such a committed group of artists. Come witness it.” – Director Allyson Sands
