“There are things in that paper that nobody knows but me.”

So says the narrator in Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s Victorian masterpiece, “The Yellow Wallpaper.” This tale of psychological terror and feminist awakening comes to life in the Carriage House at Historic Waynesborough, as a woman suffering from “nervous depression” is kept in the country on medical rest by her husband, only to discover that there is something far more insidious lurking within the walls of her prison-like room”.After a very successful run at the Hill-Physick House, “The Yellow Wallpaper,” performed by Jennifer Summerfield, is returning to Historic Waynesborough for a limited three day run: Nov. 19-17-18 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20

The Carriage House at Historic Waynesborough is at 2049 Waynesborough Rd, Paoli, PA 19301. For tickets, visit: https://landmarks.ticketleap.com/the-yellow-wallpaper/
