Community Arts Center’s Annual Member’s Exhibition Opens July 30

The opening reception and awards ceremony for Community Arts Center’s annual Member’s Exhibition takes place July 30th from 2 – 4 p.m. in the Duke Gallery, 414 Plush Mill Road, Wallingford, PA. The exhibition, which is open to all active members of Community Arts Center, features art by both emerging and professional artists in a wide range of mediums. Jeff Schaller, artist and founder of the Chester, Delaware and Montgomery County Studio Tours, is the judge of prizes for this exhibition. Schaller will announce winners in each major media group and also present an additional cash prize for Best in Show at an awards presentation at 3 p.m. The Member’s Exhibition runs through Aug. 26 with gallery hours Mon.-Thurs. 9 a.m. – 7:30 p.m., Friday – 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Saturday – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Guests attending the Member’s opening reception can also enjoy other artwork displayed in various gallery spaces throughout the Arts Center including pottery by the CAC Ceramics Associates in the Lounge Gallery, work by Community Arts Center’s Mixed Media Studio in the Stairwell Gallery and photographs by Shari Sikora on the BeaDazzle Gallery Wall. Most works are available for sale. Exhibitions and receptions are free and open to the public.
